This Cancellation & Refund Policy outlines the terms under which GoBuddy Hosting customers may cancel services and request refunds. By using our services, you agree to the terms described in this policy.
Service Cancellation
Customers may cancel their hosting services at any time by submitting a cancellation request through the GoBuddy Hosting client portal or by contacting our support team. Please note:
- All cancellation requests must be submitted at least 7 days before the next billing cycle to avoid charges.
- Failure to cancel services before the renewal date will result in automatic renewal, and associated charges will apply.
- Domain registrations, SSL certificates, and add-ons are non-cancellable and non-refundable once purchased.
Refund Eligibility
Refunds are provided under the following conditions:
- Shared Hosting: Eligible for not used service refund if cancelled within 7 days of the initial purchase.
- VPS & Dedicated Servers: Non-refundable once the server is provisioned.
- Domain Registrations & Renewals: Strictly non-refundable due to ICANN and registrar policies.
- SSL Certificates, Licenses & Add-ons: Non-refundable once issued or activated.
- Renewals: Renewal payments are non-refundable.
Refund Process
If you are eligible for a refund:
- Refunds will be processed back to the original payment method.
- Processing may take 7–10 business days, depending on your bank or payment provider.
- Transaction or gateway fees (if any) may be deducted from the refund amount.
No Refund Situations
Refunds will not be issued in the following situations:
- Violation of our Terms & Conditions or Fair Use Policy
- Suspension or termination of services due to abuse, spam, or illegal activities
- Failure to use services or dissatisfaction based on customer’s personal reasons beyond our control
Changes to This Policy
GoBuddy Hosting reserves the right to modify this Cancellation & Refund Policy at any time. Any updates will be posted on this page, and your continued use of our services after such updates constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
